Falalalala lala la la......IT'S CHRISTMAS! (almost)

Merry Christmas! Happy Kwanza! Happy Holidays!
At the moment I'm hyper do to these:

Anyways, I've recently gotten into nail art. It's quite fun! Go onto youtube and search Water Marbeling and Newspaper nail art. They are really cool and really easy and fun! I was expirementing a  bit and made a christmasy French manicure look. It would work on short or long nails.
First and second step of nail art.

Final step of nail art.
What you do first is take some tape and cover the part of your nail that doesn't get white nail polish on it for tips. Then, you paint it white. When they are fully dry  you can (if you want) take a sparkly nail art color (silver or black sparkles) and line the bottom of the tips as seen in the first picture. Then, you let that dry, which shouldn't be long and gather the following: Red and Green Nail Polish, paper towel, toothpick or that special nail brush. Take a tooth pick (or special nail brush thing) and paint the end with some nailpolish, enough so it will slighlty drip off- but not too much.  strategically place drips of color from bottom of one side to top of the same same.  Then let dry and apply a shine top coat :)
Then Voila! Christmas themed nails!
Well that's all for now, After school ends I'm going to try a candy cane stripe pattern. Wish me luck! I also post a few more christmas/holiday themed ideas later.
Till Then,
The Girl in Burgundy

Once Upon A Time....

Today was not all that interesting. Although with it being a Monday what can you expect?

Anywho, I did stumble across the new TV show Once Upon A Time, last night. It was the third episode and  difficult to understand unless you had seen prior episodes. So, seeing that this was an extremely interesting show I decided upon watching the previous episodes at hulu.com. I must say that I feel in love with this show instantaneously! BEST. SHOW. EVER. I highly recommend it to anyone out there!
Here's a picture of some of the main characters. I'll try and give a short overview without too many spoilers. The little boy in front, is Henry, the son of the Mayor of Storybrooke (Get it? Story Book). Henry has this book filled with fairy-tales and he believes that everyone is a character from the book (although he has yet to say what he is or if he is anything at all). The woman next to Henry is his birth Mother who is apparently the savior of the book who will defeat the evil queen (who Henry thinks is his Adoptive Mother).
That's all I can tell you without giving the rest away, but I highly recommend you watch it! At the moment I'm obsessed with this show so you will have to bear with me if I refer to it too much. Haha!

The Girl In Burgundy

Hello there. I'm The Girl in Burgundy, but you can call me Liz. I guess I'll start with some background information on  myself so you understand where I'm coming from on what I write about. I'm a teenage girl with a small group of friends whom I love very much. I don't want to be popular but I often wonder what it's like. They all hate eachother but act like best friends and the drama....Oh the drama, they should all win Oscar. HAHA. I'm commonly labeled as emo, goth, and depressing but I am none of these; I am an individual. I'm a wannabe authour who doesn't belive in herself enought to finish a book, let alone send one to a publisher. I suppose this shall be all for now as I have a paper to write, but I will write again soon.
